====== Data Gathering ======

When [[vdb:editing]] a movie VideoDB can gather data from external websites. Currently only the following sites are supported in the standard installation:

  * [[http://www.imdb.com|Internet Movie Database]] (supports all movie information including images)
  * [[http://www.amazon.com|Amazon]] (allows partial data only but supports images)
  * [[http://www.tvtome.com|TV Tome]] (supports actor and TV series/ episodes information but no images)
  * [[http://images.google.com|Google Images]] (supports images)


More external site plugins are planned, suggestions are welcome.

===== IMDB Browser =====

This feature is disabled by default! Enable it in the [[vdb:configuration]] screen to use it.

The IMDB Browser integrates the [[http://www.imdb.com|Internet Movie Database]] directly into VideoDB. When enabled you can access the IMDB website from the menubar. You can use their site as usual, but after every mentioned movie title you'll find a little ''+'' button. By pressing this button you can add this movie to your VideoDB. This feature is very useful to fill your wishlist.
